This wooden playing field is placed on the water and is based on the impression that it is more suitable for seafarers. The last board to be introduced is that of Dark Elves. Then carnivorous plants sprout and a horde of worms begin to squirm across the field, causing the fastest participants to run and catch the ball. The scary swamp wakes up when someone dies at the time of the game. One of the new gameboards is dedicated to the mythology of chaos that’s in place: Nurgle. The ditches fill with molten lava, and the hit by the heat can almost barely move and can at the worst suffer from a heat stroke.
The playing field turns into an open-air torture chamber when somebody spills blood on the ground. A barren stone floor is lined with huge sculpted skulls and bleachers, separated by a ditch where the losing team was thrown. The Chaos Chosen pitch is an ode to desolation. The field of play and their features are very useful. Two nations combine raw strength of the ogres and the treemen, its agility, tenacity of dwarves, and the balanced playstyle of each other. In the lively pubs of the Old World, former drinking buddies formed a whole lot of different teams. People in the Old World Alliance take part in diversity. While their diversity gives them an advantage on the physical front, most people don’t like playing nice or practice together. Orcs, slaves, dark elves, and even trolls, ogres, and minotaurs, are all the same as the worst of humans. In a strict-respection manner, a killer cheater or a violent player, Chaos Renegades represent the original group of the Blood Bowl global community with so not so strong qu’unrepentant coach would choose to play them on his roster.
